The rule also applies to those on a guided tour: the guide themselves will remind you upon entry, and no exceptions are made for anyone, whether in a small or large group. While the reason may be the protection of the marble of the Veiled Christ, in practice the rule covers the entire space, including the other statues and the underground Cavea with the anatomical machines.

If someone attempts to take a photo anyway, staff will intervene immediately, usually with a polite but firm reminder. It is not worth testing: it is better to know this before entering and enjoy the visit without thinking about your phone.
